 Our patron is Dame Emma Kirkby.
Dame Emma became our Patron in May 1993 and continues to be most supportive. Her Patron's concerts are
highlights in our musical calendar.
June 2011: The highly prestigious Queen's Medal for Music has been presented to Emma Kirkby.

 Our musical director is Richard Dacey.
Richard became our MD in Sept. 2003 and quickly inspired the Choir to sing of their best, both in Derby and twice in Italy - where the Choir sang to rapturous applause at every concert - and once to Germany.

 Our deputy conductor is Kate Baker.
Kate joined the choir in the 1980s and when standing for Richard - or taking a sectional rehearsal, always delightes members with a good session of 'note bashing'!

 Our accompanist is Margaret Williams.
Margaret joined the choir in Sept 2006. The choir benefits greatly from her experience and we really enjoy working with her.
