always delighting members with a good session of 'note bashing'! She has in the past jointly compèred Christmas Concerts with Ray Thorpe and then David Fisher, and has on occasions, shared the conducting with Richard Dacey.
On two occasions, she has conducted complete concerts, once when Ray Thorpe was still away on overseas commitments, and once after his death in 1991 prior to appointing a new conductor.
To quote Ken Spruce in his new book Chasing the Crotchet, "she is a tremendous asset to the choir". |
