 Margaret Williams
Margaret joined the choir in September 2006 as our accompanist, but was already known to many of the choir as she had previously accompanied us at some rehearsals and at performances.
She studied at Leeds University, graduating with a BA and BMus, and is an associate of the Royal College of Music.
As well as a highly accomplished accompanist, Margaret has taught music for most of her professional career, including working at Chetham and Repton Schools. She was also formally accompanist and assistant Chorus Master of Halifax Choral Society.
Margaret brings very valuable experience to the choir having been accompanist for a wide range of choral works. The choir is benefiting greatly from her experience and we really enjoy working with her. |
