Welcome to Derby Choral Union

Derby Choral Union is Derby's longest-running voluntary choir, now in its 156th Season of performing choral music both classical and contemporary to the highest standards.

Formed in 1866, Derby Choral Union has a rich history of choral music making and continues to thrive, with over 100 members supported by a devoted audience base, both of which continue to grow.

Highly regarded as one of the foremost choirs in the region, we perform three concerts each season, with our repertoire containing an extensive and exciting range of music from the traditional choral works to music by 20th and 21st century composers.
